Palmetto Supertrack 2009 Class Structure
Palmetto Supertrack follows the SEMRA class
structure so riders from all over the Southeast can focus on racing
instead of worrying about rule changes. Machines are divided into
classes described below.
Kids
Novice B - (Ages 4-7) Sponsored by ______________
50cc Two
stroke, 100cc Four stroke
Kids Novice A - (Ages 8-13) Sponsored by Cobra
of Augusta
Up to 125cc four stroke, stock motors. 50cc two
stroke. No engine modifications.
Aftermarket pipe and jetting
changes only.
Kids Spec
- (Ages 6-13) Sponsored by ____________
Must run Spec bike (125cc).
This class will run independently of other classes so that kids spec
riders can also race other classes.
Kids Expert (Ages 7-13) Sponsored by
____________
Up to 65cc two stroke, up to 125cc four stroke.
This class will race with F1.
Adult Novice Sponsored by ____________
Ages 14 and up. Any SEMRA
legal mini may compete in this class. When a competitor's times AND
SKILL level approach the times being turned in the main classes,
they will be moved. The rule of thumb will be 110% of main event lap
times.
Formula 1

50cc water cooled/60cc air
cooled two strokes, up to 112cc air cooled four strokes.
Formula 2 Sponsored by ____________
Two
strokes up to 65cc, 4 strokes up to 125cc under Superbike rules.
Bikes may have unlimited engine mods but must not exceed max
displacement.
GP 85
Sponsored by _____________
Two strokes up to 85cc,
air-cooled four stokes up to 190cc under Superbike rules.
Thumper 136 Sponsored by ____________
Four stroke machines only up
to 136cc under Superbike rules. Unlimited engine mods, but can not
exceed 136cc. Examples: XR100, TTR125, DR125, Spec Bike
Thumper 150 Sponsored by ____________
Four stroke machines up
to150cc for water-cooled and 190cc for air-cooled under Superbike
rules. Unlimited engine modifications, but must not exceed maximum
displacement.
SuperMini

Two stokes up to 105cc
maximum displacement or Four stroke up to 150cc water-cooled /190cc
for air-cooled. Unlimited engine modifications, but must not exceed
maximum displacement.
Supermoto

Up to 525cc dirt bike
chassis, any wheels.
Spec
Sponsored by ________________
LW Spec bike 125cc - Rider
and gear weighing 194 Lbs or less.
HW Spec bike 125cc - Rider and gear weighing
195 Lbs or more.
Both
HW and LW Spec will be on the track concurrently.
